Trump's evil policies pose an immediate danger to people in our DuPage community. It's an emergency that demands our collective resistance. ICE has raided several neighborhoods in DuPage, and there's an urgent need for allies to step up and get involved in efforts to make sure our affected neighbors are aware of their rights (we'll share more on this soon).
As the DuPage Dems, our focus is to use this Saturday's Volunteer Expo to help connect engaged citizens with groups who are doing important work to fight back. This is the Resistance, and we need your help!
Please attend our Volunteer Expo on Sat. Feb. 8 from 10 AM - 12 PM at the College of DuPage. We'll be joined by organizations on the front lines, including Casa Michoacán DuPage, the DuPage NAACP, and Planned Parenthood. The full list of 35 organizations that will be in attendance is in the event description here.
There will be opportunities to protest and take to the streets as we fight back. It's also important to focus on the important April 1 elections for local government, school boards, park districts, and libraries. There are MAGA extremists running for office in our community who must be stopped. |
