The Democratic Party of DuPage County is pleased and excited to announce the creation of five new active branches of the Women and Minorities Outreach Committee which will continue to broaden our base and bring all voices into our policy and decision making.   Those five new branches are: Latino Caucus  Women's Caucus African-American Caucus Asian-American Caucus and  LGBT Caucus   If you would like to be involved in one or more of these new caucuses, please contact Chairman Bob Peickert at Chair@dupagedemocrats.com with the name of the caucus in the subject line. You will also have the chance to sign up at the Holiday party. An initial organizational meeting is planned for  December 12th.   One of the hallmarks of Chairman Peickert's leadership is the relationships he has developed in the many different ethnic communities that comprise our DuPage citizenry. This is evidenced by the diversity of supporters who attend all of our events.    Please join us in this show of support for a truly BIG TENT in DuPage by attending our Holiday Party on December 6th. Norman Goldman, nationally syndicated progressive radio host wants to meet YOU. (Actually, he really does and his correspondence with us has been tremendously enthusiastic!) HOW CAN YOU BE PART OF THIS  MEMBERS-ONLY SPECIAL EVENT? Anyone who is or becomes a 2013-2014 GOLD, BLUE or TRUE BLUE member of DPDC ($100 or above) is invited to this private reception from 6-7 pm on December 6th (see party flyer below).  Membership offers other great premiums at this level so go here and contribute at $100 or more before November 30, 2013  to be included in this event. If you are a member at the $150 level or above, you will also get a signed copy of Norman Goldman's recent book.  Ticket price for the party is not included but  members DO receive and $5 rebate at the door and you must have a ticket for the Annual Holiday Party to attend the reception.
