Greetings!

This weekend will be remembered for a lot of things and most importantly for one of the biggest marches in US Herstory. But for the 120+ folks who wandered in throughout the day to our Put Your Blues to Work event, inauguration day was a day of love and resistance, bonding and tacos. Thanks to everyone who made the quick turnaround possible (especially the members of our newly formed Events Coordination Team!):
Paul Adams, Cheryl Hejnal, Jane Bodine, Connie and Joe Sunderhaus, Dan Hanrahan, Joanne Tyree, Marium and David Stevens, Bob Jeffers, Jim Atas, Donna Conrad, Richard Hirsh and ALL THE FOLKS who brought food, helped set up and clean up, ran errands (more poster board!) and tended the taco bar throughout the day.
Like our new organizational page on Facebook here where you can see more photos of our events and find out about future events and Calls to Action too. Or catch our events page on our website where more and more events will be appearing weekly as our action groups get into motion.
Let the resistance to hate and the support of true Democracy unfold from here forward!!

AND BEYOND...

Have you joined an Action Group yet? Hundreds of other motivated Dems and newly minted Dems who care about enhancing democracy in DuPage, in IL and in our country by accomplishing our 3 simple goals for 2017-2018 have!

THESE GOALS ARE:

Regain the Governor's Office and the remap
Hint: If we don't do this MAIN task and really focus to do our part, we are likely to lose the 4 congressional Democrats who now serve DuPage until the 2030 census remap or even 2040. That's pretty sobering BUT WINNING IS DOABLE if we all stick together and refuse to get distracted by races we cannot win in midterm years.

Elect 6 County Board Members in the special 2018 Run-off style election
This allows our Democratic CB members to really leverage their power by forming a swing voting block.

Teach everyone how to move voters to the polls every election!
Doing this imperative task will secure a bright future for DuPage, IL and the US in 2018, 2020 and beyond.
