EARLY VOTING STARTS IN   3 WEEKS!  Make a Plan to Vote on or before Nov. 5th!  CLICK HERE for more information     WHY I'M RUNNING FOR RE-ELECTION   CLICK HERE to watch Greg's re-election announcement video    DuPage  Awarded the Highest Bond Rating!   DuPage County received a AAA bond rating from Fitch Ratings in July 2024, making it one of fewer than 2% of counties in the United States to receive this rating from all three major rating agencies.  AAA bond ratings are the highest possible rating and indicate the lowest risk of default. They are only given to entities with a very strong ability to pay their financial obligations.     7th Annual VetBros Charity Dog Show    Greg had the honor of being a guest judge at the 7th annual VetBros charity dog show on August 4th in Carol Stream. He judged the "best puppy" category. Definitely not an easy task as they were all so adorable! All proceeds from this event go to help pet owners in the community who may be experiencing financial hardships, obtain veterinary care and pet supplies.                                   `  FIGHTING FOR MENTAL HEALTH   As Chair of Human Services, Greg was instrumental in securing millions of ARPA dollars for the DuPage Transformational Partnership. In August The DuPage County Board and representatives from the DuPage Foundation welcomed grant recipients who were awarded $1.03 million in immediate intervention grants which will help fund the work of 16 social service not-for-profit organizations serving DuPage County residents in the areas of food insecurity, housing, instability, mental health, and substance use disorder.                                                                      `              PROUD TO SUPPORT OUR LOCAL YOUTH ATHLETES As a longtime supporter of youth athletics and former youth sports coach himself, Greg is proud to continue his sponsorship of Carol Stream Panthers Football and Cheer. He and his wife Julia enjoyed attending the Panthers Kickoff event at Carol Stream Town Center on August 10th!          VETERANS RESOURCE FAIR    DuPage County hosted a Veteran's Resource Fair on August 21st which over 30 veterans assistance organizations attended. In 2022, Greg advocated to increase staff and pay for the DuPage County Veterans Assistance Commission. There are over 30,000 veterans and spouses in DuPage County.
