UNIONS BUILD BETTER!

Last week the DuPage County Building Trades Charity Foundation held a golf fundraiser. This event and the support they give to the DuPage community is just one piece of what it means to be UNION STRONG. Of course, highly skilled labor and workplace safety are other key pieces that make building in DuPage better with union labor. Thank you to the DuPage County Building Trades!

Are you interested in being a candidate in 2025 or being trained to work for a candidate? The training will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sundays at 1260 Iroquois Ave., Suite 104, Naperville, from July 21 through September 29 If needed, there will be a Zoom option. A confirmation will be sent to you after you complete this: https://go.ltdo.org/class-sign-up. Thank you for being interested. Here is the draft syllabus: https://go.ltdo.org/24-syllabus. Here is the Zoom link: https://bit.ly/2024-07-21-training.

Lisle Township Democratic Organization and the Democratic Party of DuPage County will provide applicable training and materials for those interested in running for local elected offices in April 2025 or those who want to have a paid campaign position or learn more about a topic.

We know how to get you elected or help get others elected. Many of you may wish to work on a campaign but need to know where to start, or you are a candidate who wishes to learn something other than the hard way. You need this knowledge if you are running for office. Candidate Boot Camp has a theoretical component and an experiential one. You can go to one class or all of them. You will learn highly marketable skills that can be used to get paid campaign work or do your own work. You must be a Democrat living in Illinois. This will be free training, but you must fill in the form below to reserve your spot. Various experts in the field or people from local or national campaigns will teach the classes or work with you. If you finish, we will help you find a job or race to get involved with. If you have any questions, please email diahewitt@earthlink.net or call Diane at 630-776-2324.

The first class is about who we are, the decision to run, and what do you want to run for.
