DuPage County News You Can Use

Democratic Party of DuPage County

Weekly Newsletter

A Word from Chair Reid McCollum

We're excited to help sponsor a conversation with Senator Elissa Slotkin and Governor Gretchen Witmer hosted by the IWIL Training Academy. The virtual event via Zoom is on Tuesday, May 6 from 6:00-6:45 PM. As a sponsor, we're able to offer tickets for $50 (normally $100). RSVP Here.

Correction: Last week's newsletter incorrectly said that Bobby Hernandez is the first Latino township supervisor in DuPage County's history. Diane Hewitt is DuPage's first Latina Supervisor and a first-generation immigrant, elected in 2021.

The Women’s Studies Committee at the College of DuPage is planning a community, public reading of the Constitution, the Preamble, and the 28 Amendments.

This is a non-partisan event so anyone who supports the Constitution is invited.

The reading of our founding and amended documents will be followed by small group discussion for those interested. The reading is schedule for May 1, 2025 in HSC 1234 at the College of DuPage. Gather at 2 pm and the reading will begin at 2:15.
