DUPAGE COUNTY AWARDS $1MILLION TO LOCAL FOOD PANTRIES
2/14/24 PRESS RELEASE - Wheaton The DuPage County Board voted on February 13th to allocate nearly $1 million to 16 local food pantries to assist with vehicles, capital equipment, and technology purchases. "These targeted investments will make it easier to get fresh food to the neediest residents in our County quickly, provide important resources to local pantries and strengthen our food distribution network for decades to come," said Human Services Committee Chair Greg Schwarze.
FRESH STRAWBERRIES & BANANAS!
Greg's truck came in handy for picking up a big load of fresh strawberries and bananas from SCARCE and delivering them to the Milton Township Food Pantry and the Interfaith Food Pantry at the Carol Stream Outreach Center. One of Greg's priorities is to ensure all residents have access to healthy & delicious food.

Greg joined Chair Deb Conroy and other County Board Members in delivering Valentine's balloons to residents of the DuPage Care Center-DPCC for the Center's annual balloon fundraiser.
INTERGOVERNMENTAL COOPERATION
Greg attended three legislative events this month with other local and state lawmakers, to make sure we work together to take care of our residents in DuPage County.
