May is Mental Health Awareness Month

Greg Schwarze, member of the DuPage County H.O.P.E. (Heroin/Opioid Prevention & Education) Taskforce, joined other members in accepting the "Community Partnership Award" from NAMI DuPage during its annual Shine a Light Gala. The Taskforce received recognition for its efforts in combating addiction and assisting people with mental health issues.

Greg joined other retired and active Firefighters at the wonderful "Firefighter Appreciation Breakfast" hosted by Belmont Village Senior Living on May 4th! Firefighters from Carol Stream, Wheaton, & Glen Ellyn were in attendance. Thank you so much, Belmont Village!

"Everyone Counts, Everyone Matters"

The DuPage NAACP held its 65th Annual Freedom Fund Gala on April 30th, with an incredible program and speakers! The event was attended by hundreds of guests of all ages, including the DuPage County Board Chair, several County Board Members and Judges. The annual gala funds the Sydney Finley Scholarship.
