He graduated from Glenbard West in 1967 and Marquette University in 1971. Bob was an active participant in the Democratic Party of DuPage County for more than two decades. He served as Precinct Committeeman in both Milton and Downers Grove Townships. He served as Treasurer for both townships, as well as numerous candidate committees. His experience enabled him to serve as the Democratic Party of DuPage County Treasurer for 24 years, stepping down in 2018. In recognition of his long-term commitment, he was awarded the Democratic Party of DuPage County Tinker Harvey Pioneer Award in 2012. He also received the William Redmond Precinct Committeeman of the Year Award. His commitment to the Democratic Party was inspirational to many and he was pleasant and welcoming to everyone he met. As a leader, he was generous with his time and energy. His wealth of knowledge provided great benefits to the county and township organizations as the blue wave swelled in DuPage. Thank you, Bob!
