Carol Stream Professional Fire Fighters Local 3192 presented its 8th annual scholarships to Glenbard North seniors. Candidates had to write an essay on "Why labor unions are relevant in today's society." Retired Fire Fighter Greg Schwarze was honored to hand out the awards again this year. Chair Deborah Conroy and ETSB Chair Greg Schwarze presented a proclamation to DuPage Public Safety Communications, Addison Consolidated Dispatch Center - ACDC, and City of Naperville, Illinois, Government telecommunications staff in recognition of April 9-15 as National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week.
