Friend, Happy New Year, Get on the Ballot as a WriteIn PC, MLK Jr Event and Upcoming Events

Fellow Dems,

Wishing you and your family a Happy New Year filled with Peace, Happiness and Democratic Victories!

2020 is the year we take back the White House, elect/re-elect Democrats up and down the ballot and get our Country back on track.

We have a lot of hard work ahead of us, but I cannot over emphasize the importance of that work.

Thank you for all you’ve already done to help us in the 2020 cycle. I am excited to continue fighting the good fight with you.

Sincerely,
Cynthia Borbas
Chair of the Democratic Party of DuPage County

Get on the Ballot as a WriteIn PC
Why Being a PC Matters

Do you want to help us with the fight in 2020 and beyond by getting as many Democrats elected from the top to the bottom of the ballot?

Do you want to be one of those Elected Democrats that also has a say in your Township and County Democratic Party?

Then please consider remaining/becoming an Elected PC.

If you can give 4-5 hours every election cycle to GOTV (Get-Out-The-Vote) for Democrats in your precinct, you can be a PC (Precinct Committeeperson). There are many other ways, time permitting, PCs can help elect/re-elect Democrats, identify/persuade voters, poll watching, recruiting election judges, etc...

PC – Write-In Process

If you or someone you know was considering being an Elected PC in 2020, but the paperwork was not filed, don’t fret, there is still one more chance to get Elected as a Write-In Candidate.

Reach out to us first at info@dupagedemocrats.com, to check if anyone is currently running to be a PC in your precinct.

Step 1 – Download the Declaration of Intent to Be a Write-In Candidate

Step 2 – Fill Out and then Notarize Declaration of Intent (see example here, don’t sign until in front of the Notary)

Step 3 – File Declaration with DuPage County Clerk Election Division by Thursday 1/16

Step 4 – When canvassing your precinct for the 2020 Primary Informational GOTV, include your information to be written-in for PC (need 10+ people to Write You In)
