Friend, 2020 Ballot Update, MLK Event this Saturday and more...

2020 Ballot Update

There will be a record number of Democratic PCs Elected in March of 2020 in DuPage, with well over 300 Democratic PCs being elected. That will be a 25% increase in the number of Elected Democratic PCs over 2016 (last Presidential Cycle) while there will be a 31% decrease in the number of Elected Republican PCs over 2016.

In 2020 in DuPage, for the first time, every race (all 42) will have a Democrat on the General Election Ballot. DuPage has many primaries in 2020, and for the first time in many cycles, not a single candidate that worked with the DuPage Dems had their nominating papers objected to.

The DuPage Dems helped every Presidential Candidate in Illinois with Delegates get on the ballot, the campaigns are extremely thankful.

This progress is due to the lifeblood of our organization, our PCs and volunteers and doesn't get done without our amazing Township Organizations. We're all one team, all on the same side, I could not be more proud to serve my fellow DuPage Dems.

**There are a decent number of Write-Ins, so we won't know till election night the exact count for Elected PCs (so it could be a greater than 25% increase).

**We will be slating our State's Attorney Candidate after the Primary, we had help vetting them from other Electeds.

Sincerely,
Cynthia Borbas
Chair of the Democratic Party of DuPage County
