Democratic Party of DuPage County Newsletter 10/30

Democratic Party of DuPage County

Weekly Newsletter

Election day is less than a week away! Make sure you have a plan to vote on or before November 5th

We are voting for a brighter future, where every person matters! Vote Democrats up and down the ballot. Don't forget to turn the ballot and vote for the races on the back. See below a list of all Democratic candidates running in DuPage County.

A few reminders about voting:

  • In DuPage County, you can vote anywhere
  • In Illinois, you can register and vote up to and on Election Day using grace registration and voting
  • If you requested a mail-in ballot, and wish to vote in person, bring your mail-in ballot to the polling site and hand it over to the election officials
  • If your mail ballot is damaged, contact your local election office for a replacement; you can also bring the damaged ballot to vote in person at a polling place
  • Your vote is your secret and even election officials cannot determine who you voted for
  • Illinois requires paper ballots for all ballots cast. This leaves a full paper trail of all votes cast

If you have any questions or concerns about the election process, you can contact the DuPage Election Commission at 630 407 5600.

RUN LOCAL ILLINOIS

Exciting news! The Run Local Illinois campaign is recruiting candidates for the 2025 municipal elections across the state. This campaign is working closely with dozens of partner organizations like ours to identify qualified candidates to run for hundreds of seats — and ultimately build a strong bench for future elections!

Have you ever considered running for office? Click below to let us know if you’re interested in running for a local position in your municipality and we’ll pass your info onto your county party organization!

Building a bench of qualified candidates takes time and starts LOCAL. That’s why it’s important that we start recruiting local candidates today so we can run the strongest candidates possible tomorrow. This is a big team effort, and with your help, we believe we’ll be able to launch a large-scale, long-term effort to contest down-ballot elections for years to come.

If you’ve ever thought about running for office, or simply want to learn more about what that might mean for you, fill out the interest form here!
