Remember Election night 2016? Ignore the polling - Work like we're 2 points down

It's ALL about Turnout!!

Early voting is here! While Election Day is November 8th, it is highly recommended that you vote before Election Day. Thanks to our clerk, Jean Kaczmarek, voting has never been more accessible. Below is a listing of the early voting locations in DuPage- and please remember, you can vote from ANY ONE OF THESE LOCATIONS!

We have received a lot of calls and questions regarding judicial races. Voting for Mary Kay O’Brien, Sonni Choi Williams, Jill Otte, and Mia McPherson are crucial this election cycle. Our judicial candidates are fair, knowledgeable, and just - exactly what we need in our courts. In terms of judicial retention, we are asking you to vote YES on retaining Judge Bonnie Wheaton!

As for the MOST important item on your ballot after the candidates, please vote YES on the Workers Rights Amendment. Maintaining strong unions and their right to to organize is the backbone of the Democratic Party.

Ignore the polls, ignore the news articles that Democrats are going to win big. It is all hypotheses. You need to make a plan to vote. Make a plan to vote Democratic on BOTH sides of your ballot and to vote YES on Amendment One and YES to retain Judge Bonnie Wheaton. Following polls and trends is exactly what happened in 2016, and we do not want to go back there.

Thank you

Chairman Ken Mejia-Beal

LET'S SAVE SOME LIVES THE DAY AFTER THANKSGIVING!

When we move out of 'election season' into "festive season" make yourself feel good because you helped others. Studies show it’s healthy to donate blood — both for the donor and receiver. Stop by the office after the Black Friday shopping and give a pint!

When you donate blood you’re reducing the iron in your blood. Iron in the blood causes oxidation. You’ll be reducing your blood’s viscosity. When the blood gets too thick and sticky it can damage the cells lining the arteries. You can reduce these risks by donating blood on a regular basis.

You get peace of mind when you donate blood because the check-in process includes a check of your blood's iron count. Among other things, too much iron in your blood can lead to free-radical damage in the body. On the other hand, if your iron count is too low you will not be able to give blood that day.

It’s healthy to donate blood because it gives you a sense of significance. You’ll know that by donating blood you’re helping someone out there in need. You’re saving someone’s life by donating your blood.
