Weekend canvass 👀 Slated candidates need signatures! 👟

Weekend canvass! Get slated candidates on the ballot!

Congratulations elected PC's!

Thank you for stepping up to get Democrats elected up and down the ticket! Now it's time to do that work - Canvassers needed to knock doors this weekend! Slated candidates have to collect petition signatures just like any other candidate in Illinois, they just have a very short time to collect those signatures. Let's get our candidates slated for Illinois Senate 24 and Illinois House 47. The canvass starts at 9:00am at DPDC Headquarters, 885 E. Geneva Rd. Carol Stream, 60188. Walk lists and petitions for these positions are available now.

Another canvass to slate a County Board District 3 candidate is being run out of the Downers Grove office at 908 Curtiss St. Downers Grove 60515. Drop by to get a walk list and petition sheets.

All Elected PC's

You are invited to the ILDCCA County Convention on July 27th to elect Officers. All the counties in the state are meeting on that date. Elected PC's will get a convention related email July 22. (rules, agenda, minutes) It saves everyone's time if you READ THE RULES BEFORE the Convention. If you know any elected PC's who didn't get this email - Let me know ASAP.

For 34 years, the IDCCA County Chairs’ Brunch continues to draw record numbers of active Democrats and generates the financial support to run our extensive training, party building, and recruitment programs. This year the County Chairs’ Brunch will be a hybrid in-person and virtual event. The County Chairs’ Brunch is the largest annual Democratic event in Illinois and one of the premiere Democratic events in the Midwest. We hope to see you there!
