Democratic Party of Dupage County slates candidates for November Election
July 26, 2022— Carol Stream, Illinois— Our mission to get Democrats elected did not stop after the primary on June 28th. In an attempt to add quality candidates to further our message, a slating committee was formed and found three candidates for our voters to consider.
Laurie Nowak a former member of the Dupage County Board has been slated to run for Illinois State Senate 24.
Rosemary Spann is slated for Dupage County Board 3. Rosemary has remarkable experience in the Business Community.
Newcomer Jackie Williamson got inspired to run for State House 47 at a recent Reproductive Rights Protest at the Courthouse in Wheaton after Roe was overturned. She brings passion and a grass roots spirit to this race.
The Democratic Party of Dupage County worked collectively with the Township Organizations. In a very short amount of time we were able to fill these key spots on the November ballot. This is a win for Democrats everywhere in Dupage County. These three candidates will carry our values and serve their communities well. Democrats who step up to run for office move us toward a more hopeful future and champion the values of working families.
