Obama Endorses Casten
Today, former President Barack Obama (it hurts to write "former") released a list of 81 Democrat candidates - 6 from Illinois - that he's endorsing, and our very own Sean Casten is one of them. Check out the full list to see who's being #BackedByBarack.

Tweet of the Week
Some thoughts..
First off, sorry we missed last week. Our head email guy was moving and forgot to hit send on the email. Feel free to send him your disapproval in all caps.

Second, the last two weeks have been wild. We've finally moved from "There was no collusion" to "Collusion isn't illegal, probably", and Republicans have now passed legislation that could allow people to use 3D Printers to create guns.

That sentence bares repeating. People can now PRINT GUNS. Luckily, a judge in Seattle issued a restraining order that effectively halted a company’s plans to release 3D-printed gun designs online, but the point still stands - Republican lawmakers were still okay with anyone having the ability to PRINT A DAMN GUN IN THEIR HOME.

If, when you think about the future, you see flying cars and 100% renewable energy, than there's one major thing you can do to move us in that direction. I bet you know what it is. That's right.

Vote.
P.S. - If you know anyone in or around DuPage County that would be interested in this email, please forward it to them. Our email team is all volunteers, so it's not like we get more money if there are more subscribers. We just work hard on this every week, and want as many people as possible to be informed. Thanks!
