Never has our DuPage Democratic Party had so many deeply committed and qualified people lining up to get things done. We'd first like to say THANK YOU to everyone: Our 30 Action Group Leaders, the over 400 people who have started doing the action tasks of these groups to protect our Democratic values and create new possibilities, the tens and tens of folks who have become new members since the first of the year and YOU for reading this and contributing in every way you can. Thanks.
We are also so pleased to announce a magnificent coup on the part of our Chairman, Bob Peickert: Congressman Keith Ellison D-5 MN (likely soon-to-be DNC Chair) has gladly agreed to be our Keynote speaker at this year's April 23rd Gala dinner. Please read and share this recent article by The Nation about why having Mr Ellison as DNC Chair means addressing the party's and the nation's crisis by aligning Democrats more closely with movements for social and economic justice.

| Go door to door and introduce yourself to voters in your precinct, canvass in areas outside of own area, mentor a PC if already one yourself, help organize canvasses out of the office on weekends, distribute campaign literature |

| Design tri-folds, create professional flyers, alter and enhance photos, be the PR liaison for events, create memes and other visuals, take and edit videos, create campaign literature |

| Meets 2/9 at 7pm | Attend Election Commission meetings and report back to group and post on social media, use social media to promote ballot integrity legislation and new developments on how to create fairer elections, be a poll watcher or election judge during elections, willing to speak at Election Commission meetings about ballot |

| | Funneling all of the motivation and energy that has been inspired by recent events is very exciting and, yep, you guessed it, costly.
