Please celebrate women everywhere by attending Behind the Veil February 24th

Greetings!

These are challenging times for so many but, recently, our Muslim brothers and sisters have been unfairly singled out (again!) for disrespectful treatment by our government. While we all are outraged and want to fight back, one way to do that is to find out more about the Muslim experience. Then, you can share your knowledge with your neighbors who may be ignorant of Islam or afraid to speak out about this positively UnAmerican behavior toward our citizens (and those willing to do what it takes to become citizens as so many of our forbearers did).

Of course, International Women's Day is also around the corner and we have the opportunity to meaningfully combine these two ideas with a spectacular symposium and panel discussion lead by our Women and Minorities Outreach led by Sadia Covert and Sana Singh.
