Greetings! SO MANY THINGS to be thankful for this last election season even though we all still have trepidations about what's ahead. MAY WE GIVE YOU ONE HINT: anything that is ahead will be made infinitely better by JOINING OTHERS and BEING IN ACTION. Please, give yourself the gift of remaining engaged and having a place to create the change you wish to see (and commiserate when needed). AN AMAZING YEAR IN DUPAGE IN FACTS AND PHOTOS!
First of all, don't ever forget: We elected two new representatives to National Government who represent the diversity and intelligence so evident in the Democratic Party. Congrats to both Raja Krishnamoorthi (IL-8) and Senator Tammy Duckworth and thanks to everyone in the DPDC who walked and made LOTS of calls for these fine candidates: YES! YES! YES! Justice prevails and DuPage retains a County Board candidate who ACTUALLY has the people's needs in her heart at all times. Now we need a group of watch dogs to support her (you in? Let us know here). Thanks to Liz Chaplin, her great campaign team and those who helped with the recount!
The level of professionalism in many of the local campaigns this year was outstanding. We achieved numbers in county races that are a huge sign of growth.
And, because of our great DuPage phone bank organizers for Hillary for America, we also received thousands of new contacts to whom we are reaching out right now!
ADD THAT TOGETHER WITH THIS:
