A statement from Marian Tomlinson, former challenger to Peter Breen in IL-48:
"On the advice of my attorneys, we have withdrawn our appeal of the decision of the Election Board, effectively ending my candidacy for State Representative. It is disappointing that the Republican Party would challenge me on a technicality rather than letting the voters choose who should represent them. On behalf of my campaign and myself, I would like to thank the neighbors in Lombard, Glen Ellyn and Oak Brook Terrace who voiced support for my candidacy. It was a pleasure to meet you, and I look forward to working together in the campaign in 2016."

Last year we had 4 tables, this year we hope for 5. This event is the largest gathering of Democrats in Illinois with as many as 1,500 attending.
