Helping Across DuPage

Hi Fellow Democrats,

As we head into the holiday season, it's sobering to consider how much harm Trump/GOP policies have caused for residents of DuPage. Despite the end of the federal shutdown, food pantries across the county still desperately need donated items — check "all upcoming events" for just some of the ways to donate items.

Many in our communities have spent most of this year living in fear that ICE could break into their homes, smash their car windows, demand papers, or kidnap family members without judicial warrants — these are NOT normal or acceptable practices in any democracy. Please consider getting involved in the Know Your Rights + Migra Watch Trainings (details). Thanks to the dozens of folks who came out for our Whistle Kit building and Know Your Rights workshop this past weekend, which we hosted with Indivisible DuPage, Despertarlatino, Solidaridad DuPage/Immigrant Solidarity DuPage, Aurora Rapid Response Team and our Young Dem interns!

Making sure we elect EVERY Democrat on the ballot in 2026 is a key part of protecting and improving the lives of those in our DuPage community. It's going to take all of us and a lot of hard work. The Democratic Party of DuPage County is ready for the fight. We will organize volunteer door-knocking and postcard writing; we will send text messages and mail to make sure Democrats get out to vote; and we'll work closely with our candidates, township Democratic organizations and precinct committeepersons to coordinate a winning campaign across BluePage.

If you're not already a member of the DuPage Dems, there's no better time to join than today.

In Solidarity,

Reid McCollum, Chair
