Happy Thanksgiving and thank you for all you do

Hi Fellow Democrats, On this Thanksgiving Day, I wanted to say how personally grateful I am for each and every one of you.   Following the devastating loss for our country last November, I wasn't sure how this year was going to go, even in DuPage where Democrats performed much better in 2024 than in many other parts of the country. Both fundraising and everyone's enthusiasm to fight back where open questions.   With overwhelming BluePage spirit, you all stepped up and delivered.   Democrats went 49-0 this year in the April consolidated elections and showed leadership by dramatically boosting the output of township food banks at a critical time with cuts by the Trump administration.   All year long, many of you protested every single weekend — it made a huge difference and inspired others to join the fight. We did our part to promote these grassroots efforts, including organizing a 30-mile protest from Aurora to Little Village in Chicago in May. We also proudly hosted the Texas legislators who opted to fight back against Trump's attempt to rig the Midterms through mid-decade gerrymandering. As we head into 2026, a record number of Democratic candidates are on the ballot. You stepped up to help us have the resources to get every last one of them elected next fall — 2025 was our best fundraising year in DuPage Dem history, allowing us to make our only staff role a full-time position and double our office hours. From all of us at DPDC, thank you! I hope you have a great Thanksgiving with your friends and family and get to take a little break — because we have a lot of important work ahead of us.
