Hi Fellow Democrats, This Saturday, August 2 is a national day of action to protest the Trump administration and its attack on the constitution and our democracy. We encourage folks to head to the sidewalk outside the Tesla dealership at 3200 Ogden in Lisle, where we'll join the normal every-Saturday protestors between 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM. Bring homemade signs! There's also a protest at the corner of Stearns Road and Bartlett Road in Bartlett, IL. Circulating petitions to get candidates on the ballot begins on August 5 and goes through Nov 3. It'll take us a few days (or longer) to get all of the candidates' petitions to our office, but fairly soon you can stop by anytime to pick up petitions or sign for candidates. If you're interested in running for Precinct Committeeperson (PC), those packets are available here on the County website. Hi Fellow Democrats, Stop by our booth at the DuPage County Fair, which starts tomorrow! I'm excited to share that tonight's meet and greet to learn more about our efforts to keep DuPage Blue is at capacity, but we'll be announcing more meet and greets soon. As we gear up for circulating petitions for candidates starting Aug. 5, be on the look out for ways to help. We'll have candidate petitions available at our office, the hours of which will be doubling in the coming weeks to include Tuesday and Thursday evenings, as well as weekends. Also be on the lookout for virtual info sessions on Why You Should Run for Precinct Committeeperson (PC), which will share useful info whether or not you're already a PC. We have just a few half priced tickets ($75) remaining for our table at the Brunch on Governors' Day at the State Fair. It's Wed. August 13 in Springfield.
