Our Gala is more than an event to have dinner and take photos, it is the lifeline of our Party. Our Gala is the biggest event in DuPage to help keep our Party strong. Our Gala is not just about candidates- it’s a celebration of our values and our shared success. This year we have the privilege of having Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky as our Keynote speaker. She has been an active fighter for Healthcare and reproductive rights. Our opener this year will be LT. Governor Juliana Stratton. She has been key in holding the line on rights here in Illinois. The state constitution mandates that the seat must be filled by appointment when allowed by law. Pursuant to 10 ILCS 5/25-6, the appointment must be made within 30 days after the vacancy.
