4th of July Car Parade Celebration On Saturday July 4th, at 10:00 am, join the DuPage Democrats in a fun family event as we celebrate the birth of our democracy and bring some fun to the DuPage County community!!! We would love to see some vintage cars, muscle cars, tow trucks, convertibles, exotic cars, etc, however, ANY vehicle suitable for driving down neighborhood streets is welcome. The Car Parade will travel through parts of Villa Park, Lombard, Wheaton, and Glen Ellyn. We invite everyone to safely participate in this parade by decorating your car and joining us as we travel the route. Get inspired! Awards* will be given to: 1) Most Patriotic Decoration 2) Best GOTV Decoration 3) Best in Parade *DuPage Dems officers will judge This event will follow social distancing guidelines - all participants must remain in their car at the meetup point and follow the directions of the volunteers as we line up the parade. This is a FREE event - although donations to help elect Democrats up and down the ballot are welcome. Please register so that we have an idea of the number of vehicles participating. The mobile car cruise parade will be departing eastbound from the Safari Land parking lot at 701 North Avenue, Villa Park, and begin a designated route through several communities in the DuPage area. Not only must we defeat Trump and his supporters on the federal and state level, but also have another huge opportunity in DuPage. This could be the election where we take a majority of the county board and elect county officers and judges to key positions who share our values. However, the GOP is working with big monied donors to fight against our efforts here in DuPage. To ensure we accomplish these goals we will need as many campaign resources as possible.
