Local Climate Strike Events Elmhurst Climate Strike 2019 Thursday 9/19 from 5pm-6pm Elmhurst Presbyterian Church - 367 S Spring Rd, Elmhurst Consider attending this Elmhurst student organized event to bring awareness to climate change and environmental issues. Like our page to see updates about which guest speakers will be able to attend! Global Climate Strike Friday 9/20 from 3:30-6:00pm Oliver Hoffman Pavilion - 320 W. Jackson Ave., Naperville Join us for a Climate Strike. This is the international day for a climate strike to draw attention to the looming crisis. The event is being held later in the day, but the idea behind the “strike” is that people are supposed to take time off work or school to demonstrate the importance of doing something about the crisis. Please feel free to stop by at anytime - bring a sign.
