Who got to see your smiling face this past week?
We hope you were able to join us last week which was certainly one for the DPDC "Baby Book", as they say. On top of organizing people for Democrats Day in Springfield on the 17th, the Events Team went ABOVE AND BEYOND to provide TWO amazing days this week in DuPage; the August 18th Golf Outing at Prairie Landing and the August 20th Annual DPDC Picnic at Churchill Woods.
Thanks to Paul Adams, Joanne Tyree and their teams for their dedication! Thanks, too, to our special guests on Sunday including U.S. Senator Dick Durbin and former governor Pat Quinn!

HAVE YOU JOINED OUR ELITE PROTECTORS FORCE?
Do you feel it's your duty as a Proud American to Protect : Our neighbors,
Our hungry children,
Our malnourished elderly parents and grandparents,
Our disabled facing unbelievable challenges,
Our sick who can't afford medicine or doctors,
Our struggling neighbors who can't pay the rent,
Our homeless veterans and families,
Our discouraged, victimized and murdered sisters and brothers?
IF YOU DO, YOU ARE ONE OF US. We invite you to apply for any of several new organizing volunteer positions available now. Please click here!
THE 360 degree WIN: Protecting all of our neighbors and the systems that create good quality of life is SELF-PROTECTION. EX: Predatory loans=Housing Crisis. YOU may not have gotten one of those loans but you suffered in the BIG SHORT. Doing the right thing for others also means doing the right thing for our own lives. That's a 360 degree win.
