Greetings! Wow, what an amazing week last week. Despite all of the multi-faceted analysis and rhetoric flying across the wires from social media, mainstream news and everyday conversations, it really breaks down to one thing: Did we, as Democrats, attempt to put our best face forward and project intentions and plans to make our country better for the most citizens? It would be difficult, especially in comparison with the other party's presentation, to say anything but YES, we did. Yes, we did. We all still have personal and organizational work to do to create the VERY BEST RESULTS from those promises made and WE CAN. But, we need your help.
VOLUNTEER POSITIONS WE WILL NEED TO FILL OVER THE NEXT FEW WEEKS:
Volunteer Coordinator: This job is flexible and can be done largely from home or we can give you a desk in the office. Must like phone calls and connecting people with each other and campaigns.
IN-OFFICE (6:30-8:30 M-TH) Evening Coordinator(s): This would be for a person willing to donate one night a week (or every other depending on how many folks respond). Included in activities would be answering the phone, selling Hillary signs, checking in any phone bankers (others will run the phone banks), restocking and setting up light hospitality for phone banks and other events when appropriate.
DPDC Hillary Clinton Campaign Coordinator: We are not sure yet if they will have a HRC office in DuPage but it may not happen. This volunteer would receive a dupagedemocrats.com email address and all requests from the Hillary campaign would come to this person and that person would also be responsible for helping the HRC campaign put together any events or canvasses they are doing in DuPage while keeping our Executive Director and Chair in the loop.
STILL NEED ELECTION JUDGES for November 8th!!
More opportunities will come up soon and we will get them out to you!
Thanks! Amy Rohrer ED, DPDC
