Greetings!
Today Ultra-Conservative Justice Antonin Scalia passed away in Texas. We send our condolences out to those who mourn his loss. At the same time, we also realize that many of the Constitutional adjustments he was prepared to make ("fair share" Roe V. Wade etc) were detrimental to a liberal view of our rights in this country and it must be noted that this is a game-changer. Come out this Saturday and listen to Dan Kildee and prepare to change the 2016 game with us. Ticket link here and below.

Dan Kildee, Congressman from Flint Michigan, will be our Gala 2016 speaker. He has appeared nationwide for weeks but we get to meet him in person to hear the absolute latest on the Flint situation. Please make a point of both supporting the DPDC and continuing to mainstream this important conversation on who has and who has not in our country and what we must do to rectify that. Get your ticket today.

Thank you for showing your support in any and all ways your conscience guides you to do so. Our organization isn't some unconnected entity that receives funds from somewhere else. YOU and organizations that share our vision--labor, teachers, social workers, and those with hearts for the regular citizen--are our meat and potatoes. Even if you can't attend this year's Gala, please contribute a little something now and make it monthly if you can. $5 or $10 a month is a magnificent way to show you care about our (almost entirely voluntary) work to bring Populist, Progressive and Diverse Unity to those whose voices often are lost in the $huffle.

Sincerely,

Democratic Party of DuPage County
