Parades this weekend and July 12: Your Next Chances to Mingle with Your Com-Patriots
Don't you just love July? Think about the dead of winter just behind us and what you would have done to have a parade or a fun happy hour to go to and meet fellow Democrats who were also waiting for summer.
It's here, dangit....let's enjoy it together.
GOLF OUTING
We had more golfers and sponsors than ever before and we want to say thank you to all who participated in any way. It was a crazy day (our first near-rainout in 9 years) but everyone stayed in good spirits and kept swinging. Set your calendar for our 2016 outing on June 27th. (The forecast looks great!)
Fourth of July Parades Ahead
Join the Wayne Democrats in the Carol Stream Parade -
Saturday July 4 10:00 am
We will meet no later than 9:30 am on the west side of Simkus Center (County Farm and Army Trail). Please look for Dave Barry and/or Kathy Carrier the day of the parade. Please wear your Wayne Dems shirt if you have one. If you would like one, let us know. If you have an American flag to wave and carry, please bring. We will have water for participants and will be handing out candy as we walk the parade route. RSVP

Bartlett Parade Sunday July 5 1:00 pm
The Parade kicks off at 1 pm. We will be meeting around 11:30 am. Location and number will be relayed as soon as we have it. Please look for Nasir Jahangir and/or Kathy Carrier the day of the parade. Please wear your Wayne Dems shirt if you have one. If you would like one, let us know. If you have an American flag to wave and carry, please bring. We will have water for participants and will be handing out candy as we walk the parade route. RSVP
Join Milton Democrats in the Wheaton and Glen Ellyn parades on the 4th. Wheaton kicks of at 10 am and Glen Ellyn at noon. Contact Debra Walker if you have questions at
Join the Downers Grove Democrats inDarien at 9:30 a.m on the 4th Line up at 9:00 in the Jewel parking lot at 75th and Cass. Look for our large blue parade trailer. Limited seating if you cannot walk. We will provide candy. Please wear your DG Dems t-shirt. RSVP

Line up at 12:15 in Section 4 at the Parking Lot east of North High School. Look for our big blue parade trailer. Limited seating on trailer if you are not able to walk. Please wear your DG Dems shirt or a blue or white t-shirt. We will have candy for the parade route. BBQ immediately following the parade at the Hose' home. RSVP
