Greetings!

In honor of breast cancer awareness month, we bring you this message in pink! Voter info here including all the absentee and early voting information you can use.

Join Women for Quinn and help us re-elect the candidate who has been an advocate for women in Illinois!  Governor Quinn has a long history of being a proponent for women and LBGTQ rights, supporting programs and signing legislation that allow these communities to succeed in the workplace, healthcare, and home.

We need to inform women throughout the state of Rauner's right-wing agenda as a threat to women.  Please help us to pass out information to women weekday mornings at high-traffic Metra Stations, (peak time 6:30-8:30a approximately).  You can choose your station and your date(s) between Oct 1-31.

Also be sure to save the date for our Women's Days of Action
October 11th!

Endorsements Pile Up for Chairman Peickert
Democratic Chair Bob Peickert, candidate for the DuPage County Board Chair, recceived the endorsement of two more unions - Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and the Utility Workers Union of America Local 18007 and its Business Manager Richard Passarelli. In a letter Mr. Passarelli said "Peickert's extensive union background and a committed 40 years of Union membership have played a valuable role in his 4 terms as Chair."

"I'm extremely pleased and honored to have received the endorsement of the BLE and Local 18007." Peickert added. Chairman Peickert also said that he is expecting endorsements from other unions and union leaders very soon and that his run for DuPage County Board Chair is going along as planned. "I continue to receive a lot of encouragement from residents all over DuPage County. Many feel that the Republican stranglehold on DuPage should end."

Bob Peickert also received the endorsement of the United Auto Workers Local 145. According to Chairman Peickert, "I am once again encouraged by the support I have received from so many labor unions around the area. The UAW is a strong labor union and understands the importance of electing Democrats to office."

Peickert has also been endorsed by the Indo-American Democratic Organization.
Bob was informed by Indo-American Democratic Organization (IADO) President, Dr. Ashish Sen, that he had the endorsement and support of the IADO and its members. "Dr. Sen and the IADO have been extremely supportive of the DPDC for the last 6 years. My thanks to Nasir Jahangir and Amy Rohrer for bringing them into the DPDC."
