GOVERNOR CALLS ON THE DUPAGE DEMOCRATS  Governor Pat Quinn called me to express his thanks to the DuPage Democratic Party for all of the work on behalf of his and other campaigns. He also said that  DuPage is key to his victory and asked that we make every effort these next few days to get out the votes. I told him that we were 100% behind him and will do everything we can.   The Governor's campaign has been working out of our office for several months and will now be working on a GOTV effort until November 4. The Governor's staff has asked for volunteers to work in 2 hour shifts, longer if you have time, from November 1-November 4. The office will be open from 10:00 AM - 9:00 PM on Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday (7:00 on Tuesday). We also need volunteers to knock on doors of the drop off voters.  We will provide refreshments during these hours and invite all to our election night victory party after the polls close at LaTosca Restaurant in Villa Park.   PLEASE say yes to the Governor and volunteer for a shift or two. You can make a difference.
