Others of you may be asking, "No, really, what CAN I learn at Camp Wellstone?" and here is the answer. Camp Wellstone: Illinois Aug 9 - 11, 2013 Lombard, IL   Camp Wellstone is a 2 ½ day training running from 3-9pm Friday, 9am-6pm Saturday, and 9am-3:30pm Sunday. It is open to anyone interested in gaining practical skills in progressive political action. During Camp Wellstone, we provide focus areas based on your role in progressive organizing, each with a distinctive curriculum taught by some of the nation's leading experts in grassroots politics and organizing. Registration is now open! MORE INFO AND REGISTRATION HERE I CAN'T COME BUT I WOULD LIKE TO CONTRIBUTE TO A SCHOLARSHIP FOR SOMEONE WHO CAN?   Summer's still rolling along! 7/24-28 DuPage County Fair.  This is a great event for party exposure and volunteers may still be needed. This is a great networking event because it attracts new people who would love to make connections in their townships. This free event is a great way to show off your family and meet these new folks. Watch for RSVP info in future eblasts. This is also a great place to bring folks whom you know might want to join the Precinct Committee Team in DuPage! 9/3/13 First Day to circulate petitions for the March 18, 2014 Primary.
