There is so much going on with legislative sessions coming to full throttle (if ya know what I mean) and we have the chance to come to bat for our team. Let's do it!!

Two things we are focusing on are below...guns and gays (and a bonus feature below)!

We were so pleased with the success of this year's gala and thank everyone who helped headed by our Gala production lead team, Rose Fitzpatrick, Connie Sunderhaus and Karen Hoffman!!
Also, weare happy to announce the winners of the Facebook photo contest from the Gala and they are....

Patricia Johnson who took so many wonderful shots it was tough to choose but here's one:

It never fails! Every year someone is captured wearing the crown/halo and could we find a more fitting queen/angel than Anna Banks Simeon?

And the Ladies of the Club (r to l Lois Sheridan, Carol Honeywell, Mary Landreth, Diane Mustachio) looking over the lovely and fun raffle prizes! Thanks to the photographer, Beryl Jacobson!
Both of our winners will receive a 50$ gift certificate
to Red Stone in Oak Brook Terrace!

WOMEN AND MINORITIES OUTREACH SOCIAL
We are making some real changes here in DuPage and one that we are particularly excited about is the increased inclusion of women and minorities as active participants in DPDC. Not only that but a large percentage of those elected in 2012 were women!! Minority citizens also need the chance to represent and be represented in DuPage so we must continue the great work we have started.

If you would like to be involved in continuing this trend
so vital to our democracy, please

ATTEND OUR WMOC SOCIAL ON MARCH 22
More details forthcoming but please contact Sarbani Chowdhury if you would like to be involved
