 Some of you are surely thinking "Oh geez, not another fundraiser!" We know the feeling! We also know that there are certain steps to the dance that we, as a Democratic Party, need to do in DuPage to transmit our growing influence. An upscale evening honoring those who make this party flourish and showing our considerable force and fundraising muscles is among those steps.
More importantly, our increased turnout and enthusiasm both at the polls and at the Gala demonstrate to the media, the casual viewer, the voters on the fence, the disenfranchised, the Republican establishment, the Democratic establishment and our own members that we are THRIVING in DuPage.
Your contribution to making this night the strongest ever (by purchasing tickets, a table or ads for the program at the link above) is used to grow our organization at every level. Our vibrant Precinct Recruitment effort has just begun its 2014 work, we plan to have Camp Wellstone back this summer to train candidates, campaign workers and community advocates,and deepening candidate search and support will also be possible. All because you invested in our fancy event to show DuPage our true BLUE colors! We look forward to seeing you!
