Understanding our constituents and our voters is critical. A newly released report Illinois Muslims: Needs, Assets, and Opportunities will help us as leaders across the district gain a deeper understanding of the diverse races, classes, and backgrounds of this complex community. Join Dr. Dilara Sayeed, President, IL Muslim Civic Coalition, and Dr. Joseph Hoereth, Director, Institute for Policy and Civic Engagement, University of Illinois Chicago, to learn about the findings of the recent report and to have a conversation about opportunities to engage voters and constituents of diverse backgrounds. Register for zoom link Every campaign needs canvassers. Some campaigns will even pay canvassers. Canvassing is the most effective way to touch voters. Every campaign works a little differently so each campaign will train you as to what they are looking for at doors.
