Keep the momentum going into 2023! Wishing you a festive fun New Year. Thank you for your past support, it means everything to us. As we look back on 2022 we have so much to be proud of and grateful for, most of all - record voter turnout in a midterm year! Together we codified the Workers Rights Amendment. We won 21 of the 30 DuPage County Offices, including some firsts; the first female chair, first Black board member, two new Asian board members. We sent a few new Democrats to represent DuPage County in Springfield. We sent all our Democrats to represent DuPage County in Congress. Ten years ago if anyone would have told me DuPage County would be a Blue County, I would have thought they were crazy. Yet here we are! Let's not rest on our laurels. With municipal elections 4 months away followed immediately by the run up to the 2024 Presidential elections, DPDC has to raise money to message and turn out votes because our Democratic values don't stop with an election. All this campaigning takes ungodly amounts of funding, as you well know. That's why we want you to sponsor and come to our Annual Gala. If you are looking for discounted tickets only a few days left, the price goes up Jan 1. We have a great foundation, we have to keep it going - and have fun at the gala. More Gala Info and Buy Tickets Rep. Kifowit said she’s never had a formal dinner event before so they’re putting one together to honor her 10 years of service as a State Representative! Prior to her service as a State Representative, she served in the US Marines and also served as an Alderman for the City of Aurora. So I guess she has more than 10 years of service! They want everyone to be able to come and celebrate, so there isn't a ticket cost. They are asking for sponsorships to cover the expenses. If you can't be a sponsor, you are still more than welcome to come and enjoy!
