The House is at it's highest point at 18 percent (including the (Delegates) The influence of the Caucus has far exceeded its representation in Congress. Their accomplishments include:    The Pregnancy Discrimination Act The Child Support Enforcement Act The Retirement Equity Act The Civil Rights Restoration Act The Women's Business Ownership Act The Breast and Cervical Cancer Mortality Prevention Act The Mammography Quality Standards Act The Family and Medical Leave Act The Violence Against Women Act The Commission on the Advancement of Women and Minorities in Science, Engineering, and Technology Development Act Join the DuPage Democratic Party at the Governor's Day Brunch Wednesday August 13th at the Crowne Plaza in Springfield. 35 DuPage Dems have already signed up. Last year we had 4 tables, this year we hope for 5. This event is the largest gathering of Democrats in Illinois with as many as 1,500 attending.
