Thank you, Dale. We miss you. . Greetings!   After making his last post here on the DPDC blog on Monday March 18th, Dale Bowling, the man responsible for truly revitalizing the DPDC blog with so many timely, intellectually stimulating and sensitive posts, took his life after a long period of depression. The sadness we feel for his family and for our Democratic family at the loss of this deeply insightful and caring person is not speakable. In this EBlast   Greetings! Click above to become a Member or to donate today Due to inclement weather AGAIN, the Scrap the Cap program has been postponed. Please continue to save your bottle caps so that we can flood congressional offices with them and send the message that cutting Social Security is NOT ACCEPTABLE. Period.  Please take a few seconds to amuse yourself with the video below if you haven't already and watch for more news about this program soon.    JUST SCRAP THE CAP  (We're Movin' In)  Join our Scrap the Cap Program ONGOING  What we need you to do:  1) Read this so you know why we are doing this!  2) Save all of your bottle caps from milk jugs to cooking oil to bottled water.  3) Print out this form, sign and bring in to the  office with your saved bottle caps     some spring day in the very near future. 4) We will attach the caps to your signed sheets (please include your name and zip code), box them up and send for our senators and representatives  to deliver a clear message SCRAP THE CAP on Social Security and make it sound for years to come.      If you'd like to get in on more fun, Find us on Facebook!    Paid for by the Democratic Party of DuPage County.
