Hi DuPage Dem, There are only 55 days until the midterm elections. Please do all that you can between now and November 3 to help make sure we elect our Democratic candidates up and down the ballot across DuPage County. Keep reading for dozens of ways to help our candidates get their message out! Please help us write postcards to boost Democratic turnout in DuPage. Get-out-the-vote postcards with these messages are proven by large randomized studies to be very effective, especially with Democrats who vote in presidential elections but often skip the midterms. Write Postcards We need a handful of additional volunteers to help staff our DuPage Dems office in Carol Stream as we enter the home stretch toward the midterms. If you're interested in learning more, please sign up for one of our virtual info sessions on Thursday, September 17 at either 12:00 p.m. or 6:00 p.m. Finally, please know that it is currently legal and safe for all eligible voters to vote by mail in Illinois. The President has no constitutional authority over US elections, so most legal experts believe the Supreme Court will rule that his USPS policy intended to disenfranchise millions of voters will be struck down, possibly later this week. That said, the DPI Voter Protection team is planning for all possible scenarios. Our job right now is to share accurate information, so please be careful not to propagate incorrect information that might add to the confusion. Thank you!
