Christian Mitchell is coming to the picnic this Sunday

Hi DuPage Dem,  I'm excited to announce that Governor Pritzker's running mate, Christian Mitchell, will speak at our Summer Picnic this Sunday, August 9th! Learn more about Mitchell below. We'll also have many other Democratic candidates and elected officials in attendance. The picnic is free, but please RSVP so we know how many people to expect. Bring the whole family and enjoy burgers, veggie burgers, hot dogs, salads & more (vegan & gluten free options available); games & activities; meet candidates from across DuPage County and the state; enter our 50/50 raffle for a chance to win big while supporting a good cause. We're also going to raffle a pair of tickets to the DPI Gala! In addition to great food and speakers, we'll have activities for kids run by our fantastic interns as well as a Young Dems meetup. Mitchell is Captain and Judge Advocate (JAG) for the United States Air Force, serving in the Illinois Air National Guard since 2023. In addition, Mitchell served as Deputy Governor for Public Safety, Energy, and Infrastructure for Illinois Governor JB Pritzker. PARKING: The lot at Hidden Lake will quickly fill up, but we'll have a volunteer-powered shuttle service from the Walmart parking lot just across the street. Thank you!
