Happy New Year from the DuPage Dems

Hi Fellow Democrats,

As 2025 comes to a close, I'm so grateful for the thousands of amazing people in our DuPage Dems community! Together in 2025, we lifted each other up, supported everyone in our community, and tirelessly fought back against Trump/GOP cruelty, corruption, and chaos.

Here are just a few of the memorable highlights from the year:

  • In March, we held our most profitable Gala in DPDC history — keynote speaker, NC Dems Chair Anderson Clayton fired us up
  • In the April elections, Democrats went 49-0 in contested races
  • DuPage grassroots groups led weekly protests, including our 30-mile Hands Across Chicagoland from Aurora to Little Village, which was featured on Rachel Maddow
  • When Texas legislators fled their state to resist mid-decade gerrymandering, their first press conference was at our DPDC office with Gov. Pritzker
  • Speaking of our office, we doubled its hours and hired a full-time Executive Director
  • As we head into 2026, we have a record number of Democrats running across BluePage County

There's no better way to close out the year and show your support for our efforts than to buy your ticket for our 2026 Gala, which includes a full year of DPDC membership!

Our Gala keynote speaker is David Hogg! The Gala is Sunday, Feb. 22 at Drury Lane in Oakbrook Terrace. Gala tickets are now on sale. Please spread the word, because we're going to try to fill 1,100 seats.

Happy New Year!

Reid McCollum, Chair
