Useful Election Day Info

TODAY IS ELECTION DAY!

Today, Tuesday, April 1 is Election Day for the important elections for townships, municipal offices, school boards, libraries and parks! You can look up your sample ballot here.

Your friends and family may need your reminder to vote – please help spread the word about the importance of voting, as well as the following useful information:

Polls are open from 6:00 AM - 7:00 PM. Anyone in line at 7:00 PM must be allowed to vote. In DuPage County, you can vote at any polling location.

If you never received your mail-in ballot, you can still vote in person. If you haven't yet returned your mail-in ballot, it must be postmarked by Election Day; it's better to drop it off at any polling location, or you can surrender it and voter in person.

Illinois has same-day voter registration, but you must bring two forms of ID, one with a home address.

The Democratic Party of Illinois has a Voter Protection Hotline: call or text the hotline at (855) IL-VOTES or email voterpro@ildems.com.

We also have a DuPage Dems Voter Protection Hotline: call or text 630-283-2934.

You can follow election results here.

Thank you for being a voter!
